Cafe mangii is a very popular restaurant in Khar..They offer breakfast, pastas,sandwiches,but is best known and very famous for its woodfire pizzas accompanied with wine from their exotic wine collection. The restaurant gives a very European kinda feeling.It has a very elegant,classy ambience.Staff service is quick and courteous. Coming to the variety of dishes i tried from their menu Signature mocktail Mango brownie twister -A satisfing mocktail served with hime made brownie on top,ice cream and toned milk used in preparation of this wonderful drink. Soups- Creme al funghi-A nice smooth warm soup.For mushroom lovers. Caramalized onions and au gratin also added in the soup.Nice and worth trying Minestrone -Thick Italian soup made with veggies and addition of pasta,beans,onions,carrot and tomatoes. I personally liked the Mushroom soup more than the Minsestrone soup Small plates Baked cottage cheese -Mixed cottage cheese.cheddar and spinach used in preparation of this dish..Worth trying.Have it when served warm Gorged mushrooms -Simply yummy.Parmesan cheese mushrooms & herbed cream cheese served with smudged BBQ..Highly recommended Cheddar Jalapeno poppers -Crispy deep fried poppers with sundried tomato aioli stuffing in it.Decent preparation. Wood fire pizzas Here comes the best part of the menu Primavera pizza + calzone vendure( half n half) - On special request half n half pizzas were prepare for me.Wood fire pizza with a nice thin crust,home made dough served with ricotta spinach ,gorged mushrooms,onions and pepper ,zuccini toppings for calzone vendure pizza & brocolli,basil ,spiced tomoato toppings used in primavera pizza. They also coming up with pizza & sangria festival from 15th November 2017 onwards Luckily i also got to try Moroccan pesto pizza which features in their pizza festival served with olives & feta toppings. I an surely visiting them again to try out their exclusive crafted pizzas like Quattro stagioni ,The local pizza featuring in their special festival menu Pastas - Fettuccine pasta -This is a very popular dish from Roman cuisine.It is a flat thick pasta made of egg and flour served with light fire roasted tomato and garlic sauce. Desserts After a heavy meal had some space to try out their dessert Mocha fudge treat -chocolate,butter,expresso used in preparation of this sinful dessert.Highly recommended to try it out by me 34 LAYER CAKE -This is another signature dessert of cafe mangii .which one should indulge in Overall i had a grand time at cafe mangii. What a great disappointment to have ordered my lunch from here! I ordered a classic roast chicken as a healthy option for my lunch. The red wine jus was thickened by adding corn flour to it? What the point of ordering from a gourmet restaurant? Why can’t a proper reduction to the jus be done for the right thickness? Would have ordered from a way cheaper place and gotten better quality food, such disappointment. The veggies were over cooked when they were supposed to be well sautéed, the chicken was over cooked beyond chewing capabilities (I do understand the consequences of parcelled food but this was more than that) just a huge disappointment on many levels. Never again.

Thi restaurant is literally a combo of great food, with a great ambience and awesome service The food : from the appetizers to the main course.. nothing disappointed. We had heard so much about the wood fired pizzas and the pastas and it didn't let us down. The fondue again is really famous here but we didn't have more room for it The ambience : a completely italian ambience with soft and nice english romantic songs playing is quite a place for a romantic evening. The service : I dont know how but every dish we ordered was served within 5 mins despite of the all the tables being full. The staff was couteous to get a review of every dish got to us and we were taken care of really well. This place is heaven for authentic italian food lovers and eventhough the prices are on a higher range the quality and taste doesn't let you down.
